Worth seeing in both nice and slightly worse weather

Very nice and competent cabin crew. Everything was very clean. Super good, especially freshly prepared food ("normal" and vegetarian). Large selection at breakfast. Our 3 nights a positive experience even in the "Corona times restrictions". Any time. Thanks Stefan and the "girls".

Perfect location. For experienced hikers, it can be reached in just over 40 minutes from the Jenneralm. Food and drinks are tasty and inexpensive. Wiener with sauerkraut and bread € 4.50

The tenant has changed and is therefore no longer unreservedly recommended. Instead of yeast dumplings (there were even blueberry dumplings) there was pumpkin and chickpea curry with naan bread (daily meal). Sorry, but someone didn't understand the concept of a mountain hut at all! When we asked about yeast dumplings, we got the answer from the landlord that he only had fresh goods and no frozen goods. My need for international starred gastronomy in a mountain hut is around 0. Have been to the Schneibsteinhaus every year for the last 10 years, but I don't think that the current gastronomic concept justifies another visit. However, one or the other hut classics survived the realignment and there is absolutely nothing to complain about the drinks.

We spent wonderful days. Beautifully located hut, excellent food and very personable hosts. We will be back!

Super expensive accommodation and half-pension but can be easily reached with a lift and has a good location to start an early hike the next day. We did a trial via Schneibstein and Roth to the Obersee with took us (three adults in late twenties) about 12(!) hours (incl. swimming in lakes). So not to underestimate!

Cozy and beautifully located mountain hut of the DAV. The food is delicious and the staff very nice and helpful! We felt very comfortable during our two nights.

Not recommended since the new tenants. The food was ok. The hospitality leaves something to be desired. Also strange kitchen opening times, see photo. I have never seen it in a hut

The Schneibsteinhaus, the ideal place to rest in peace to fill up its energy with food and drink. Great view of the surrounding peaks. Friendly host and service, prices are in accordance with the hut.

Super friendly hosts and a liver dumpling soup of the highest class in a breathtaking atmosphere! Absolutely great and only to be recommended !!!

Super quaint but clean cabin with nice operators. Prices were typically ok. Overall, we liked it a lot and we (family with children) would come back or recommend the visit.
